CAPS/ACSP will hold its annual Executive Election from December 13th – December 20th 2019.
If you are an Active or Alumni Member who would like to help make a difference in the lives of postdocs across Canada, consider joining the team!
Benefits include travel to the Annual CAPS/ACSP meeting, working with a highly motivated team, networking with organizations across Canada working on postdoc affairs, and much more!
Eligibility:
To be eligible for nomination, an individual must be registered as an ‘Active Member’ or ‘Alumni Member’ of CAPS/ACSP.

At present, we are actively recruiting nominees for 6 seats on the Executive that still lack nominees (see below).

How to Nominate a Candidate:
To self-nominate or nominate someone else for a position please respond by email to chair@caps-acsp.ca with the following information:
1) Full name of nominee
2) Email address of nominee
3) Institutional affiliation of nominee
4) Desired/selected position
5) Candidate statement
Candidate Statements:
Nominees are required to submit a short (maximum 100 words) candidate statement describing their interest and any relevant experience for the position they are nominated for prior to the election. Candidates who are self-nominating are encouraged to provide that statement at the time of nomination.
The deadline for nominations is December 12th at 11:59pmPT.
If there is more than 1 candidate per position nominated, voting will take place online beginning Dec 13 and will continue until Dec 20. Successful candidates will form the 2020 CAPS/ACSP Executive. Terms begin in January 2020.
